SumArt y La Gente was a group show addressing Sociopolitical issues concerning community in a highly interactive format with a novel approach to art presentation and audience participation. A different format from SumArt Fest yet maintained the same spirit and liveliness of a communal art show. This exhibit reflects the firm belief that art has the power to be more than an aesthetic experience but one that also provides opportunity for genuine exchange of ideas for social betterment.
This was a free community art event that showcased local & regional artists, performers, and writers. Our goal is to engage a diverse audience through a creative and interactive environment that strives to inspire the Community and its Youth.
